Welcome to this very special evening, when we celebrate the opening on this year’s festival of theatre in Silkeborg.
The opening performance is ‘Andersen, the Ugly Duckling‘, presented by the Spanish Theatre Etcétera from Granada. The show is for everyone from approx. 10 years old and up. There are 3 actors and puppeteers, and 6 musicians who together tell an intriguing story of Hans Christian
Andersen’s life and of the tale of the ugly duckling.
There will be a Danish narrator during the performance
and English subtitles.
The evening will be in two parts.
During the first 20 minutes we will celebrate the opening
of the 26th Festival of Wonder.
After that you can sit back and enjoy an outstanding
theatrical experience with top class live music.
