Ehrengard / Ehrengard
‘‘Ehrengard’ is an intriguing story about a princess who becomes pregnant at the wrong time, and a court artist who wants to seduce a court lady by painting her while she bathes in a lake in the woods.
Karen Blixen’s ironic answer to Søren Kirkegaard’s ‘The Secuder’s Diary’ is dramatized by Per Brink Abrahamsen with the permission of the Rungstedlund Fund. The English artist and book illustrator Dodie Masterman has created enchanting scenes of the small German Duchy ca. 1830.
The performance is paper theatre. There are a limited number of seats at each show.
