Klovnen der bare ikke var særlig sjov / The Clown who wasn’t very funny
When Dummy the Clown enters the ring, everything seems to come to a stand-still.
People sit and think about other things: If there is a person they miss, somebody they want to talk to or share thoughts with. But not many people laugh.
’It has to be funnier!’, yells the circus director and threatens to fire the clown. Leo the lion tries to help with the clown’s act. Suddenly he trips and falls down and, what do you know, somebody laughs. Not many, and not very loud. And Clown gets fired.
To the great surprise of the circus director, people in the audience begin to complain, for what is a circus without a clown?
Using humor and music we follow Dummy’s attempt to create laughs. Maybe success can be measured in more than just laughs, even for a clown.
